Education Committee


The Education Committee facilitates the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based continuing education offered by the Association to its members and the nursing community. The Education Committee has no responsibility for the annual International Conference of Forensic Nursing Science and Practice. All conference content development is the responsibility of the Conference Program Planning Committee.

Commitment

The time commitment is based on the area of responsibility of the specific committee or position, however the Education Committee will communicate through email and conference calls. On average, most activity can be handled with 6-10 conference calls per year. Individual activities outside of conference calls should also be expected. Regular access to email is a must. Since the Education Committee makes time sensitive decisions to ensure all education activities can progress as planned, any applicants to this position must regularly read and respond to email in a timely manner.
