A group rate of $129 Single/Double (plus applicable taxes) in the Tuscany Tower (one king bed or two king beds) has been negotiated for IAFN attendees. A limited number of rooms are reserved at these discounted rates until September 19, 2018. The hotel will honor the discounted rate three days before and three days after the conference, based on availability. A non-refundable deposit for the first night room rate and tax will be collected at the time of booking. The credit card presented at check-in will be the card that is charged for the remaining nights.

Ground Transportation

Located just three miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, the Peppermill hotel provides complimentary shuttle service forguests daily to the property. The shuttle departs from the airport every halfhour from 4:15am – 11:45pm. Pick up is at the North exit of the Baggage Claim area.


Conference Learning Outcome

After attending the 2018 Conference on Forensic Science and Practice, participants will report increased knowledge about the current state of the science in forensic nursing, concepts impacting the future of forensic nursing, strategies to influence the future of forensic nursing and the global response to violence, the risks and benefits of technological advances as they relate to forensic nursing and issues of violence and incorporating evidence-based strategies into forensic nursing practice.
