What is Advocacy Day?

Advocacy Day is an opportunity to use our collective voices to advocate for issues that impact forensic nursing by sharing the critical work you do with decision makers in Washington, D.C.

Its easy! We come together in the morning for training and discussion. In the afternoon you make your voice heard by meeting with Members of Congress about issues that directly affect forensic nursing.

Will Advocacy Day still occur if the government is shutdown?

Yes! Despite the fact that many facets of the government are shutdown, Senators and Representatives are in D.C. and working.
