General Information for All Presenters
All presenters need to include this slide in their presentations, which indicates that the views and opinions expressed are those of the authors and not necessarily those of IAFN.
On Site Check-In
All presenters are required to check in at the on-site registration desk. Upon checking in, you will receive final confirmation of your presentation date and time. Be sure to check the Conference Notebook for exact location.
The invitation letter you received contained your speaker agreement. Please note that the agreement commenced and was effective upon your acceptance of the invitation and will terminate on October 14, 2017, midnight EST. The performance of the agreement is subject to termination without liability upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party (i.e., acts of God, war, disaster, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation facilities such as an airline strike) to the extent that such circumstances make it illegal or impossible for the International Association of Forensic Nurses or you, the presenter, to deliver services.
You agree to provide a written 30-day cancellation notice to the Association in the event you cannot fulfill your agreement due to circumstances other than those outlined above. In the event that you have to cancel prior to your scheduled engagement, the Association will not be held liable for any charges incurred by you. Written notice of cancellation should be directed to Carol Dunn, Meetings/Events Planner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are not the sole presenter for your session or workshop, please contact your co-presenter(s) to confirm their availability for the day and time stated in your Acceptance Letter and confirmation email. The primary presenter is responsible for apprising his or her co-presenter(s) of any updated Conference information. All presenters and co-presenters must register for the Conference even if they do not plan to attend other sessions or workshops. Presenters will receive a special promo code in early June to share with co-presenters, enabling them to register and receive a 20% discount on early/regular registration for the Conference. Poster Presenters will receive a 10% discount on early/regular registration for the Conference. Please Note: This discount cannot be combined with any other discounts. If any co-presenters will not be available or will be replaced, please notify Carol Dunn at (410) 626-7805 or email@example.com as soon as possible so the program information may be amended.

Presenters should plan to bring their presentations on a USB or other source. Do not plan to use your own laptop.
Internet access is not provided in the meeting rooms so please be sure to download any materials you wish to show during your presentation.
Based on previous evaluation data, attendees expect that faculty will provide some type of handout material that corresponds with the content being taught. With this in mind, we ask that all presenters submit course handouts no later than September 15, 2017, to firstname.lastname@example.org for upload to the conference website. This will allow attendees to access handout materials at their leisure while keeping the conference as green as possible. General guidelines to consider are:
A room moderator will be assigned to each session and workshop to take attendance, keep time, and trouble-shoot. Please alert your room moderator if any AV equipment is missing or if you have any questions/concerns during your presentation.
Poster Session Presenters

All posters will be displayed in the Exhibit Hall throughout the Conference.
Poster presenters should plan to be on-hand to present their materials from 8:00 AM -9:00 AM on Friday, October 13.
Poster boards are 4' x 8' in size. Please ensure that your materials fit within these dimensions.
Poster materials adhere to poster boards with velcro or push pins. The Association will supply both.
You must retrieve your poster materials by 5:00 PM October 13. Any materials left behind will be discarded.
