Registration is free to providers from IHS, Tribal, and Urban Indian health care facilities. Providers from referral facilities that serve American Indian or Alaska Native victims of sexual abuse are also eligible to attend at no cost

Registration is free to providers from IHS, Tribal, and Urban Indian health care facilities. Providers from referral facilities that serve American Indian or Alaska Native victims of sexual abuse are also eligible to attend at no cost.

This is a 44-hour, self paced online course.  Once it begins, you may view the course at any time of the day or night.

Professional Requirements: You must hold an active, unrestricted license as an RN, Advanced Practice RN, MD, DO, or PA to take this course.  This course is intended for practitioners who will be performing hands-on Medical Forensic Exams.   

 

 

Target Audience:

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of nurses and physicians involved in the treatment and care of pediatric patients who have been victims of sexual abuse/assault.
