We are so proud to share that Dr. Carolyn Ziminski Pickering from Michigan State University was awarded $5,000 towards her research titled, “Influence of Workplace Violence on the Older Adult Resident/Certified Nurse Aide Caregiving Relationship.” This study will explore, from the perspective of the certified nurse’s aide, how workplace violence affects their ability to provide quality care, including poor quality and unsafe care such as elder abuse and neglect, in skilled nursing facilities.
